Think having a 404 Page Not Found Error on your website is no big deal?
Forget about backlinks, and all the other SEO (BTW… SEO stands for search engine optimization) confusing voodoo…
If you want to know the key to good SEO and continued high-rankings on Google, here it is…
“The Key To Good SEO Is In The User Experience!”
Google is all about the user experience…
If your website visitor goes from one page to another page to another page… that’s signifies that your site is valid. It’s like getting a vote to increase your rankings, every time your visitor goes to another page on your website.
On the other hand…
If your visitor lands on your webpage and BOUNCES… meaning they only view that one page and then leave your website… that’s not good
In essence, that visitor is telling Google…
“Even though I clicked keyword “X”, there’s not much here for me on this website.”
How Do You Enhance Your Visitors Experience?
You want to rig the site in your favor.
BTW… This is Totally Google Legal.
Cross-link your various webpages.
Whenever you add a new page, especially a blog article, ALWAYS include at least one “relevant” link on the page that links to another page on your website.
I say relevant meaning that the link and therefore the page the visitor visits when clicking on that link, would have valuable and related content that further enhances the visitors experience and lengthens their stay on your website.
Here’s an example…
Since this article is about improving your website SEO so you can get your business on Page One of the search engines, I could reference a previous blog post where I revealed a little known Page One of Google Backdoor Strategy.
Another example would be to simply list all of your related blog posts on that topic…

Secret YouTube Video SEO Backdoor To Page One
Of course your other related pages would have a similar blog post list linking back to this page.
By using this strategy, instead of your website visitor landing on one page and bouncing off your site, many of them will visit multiple pages on your website.
That means lots of Google Votes for YOU!
But when a visitor BOUNCEs it’s like getting your votes taken away.
So, to put it in basic English…
Multi-Page Visitors… GOOD!
Single Page Visitors… BAD
What’s WORSE Than A Single Page Visitor BOUNCE?
The answer…
404 Page Not Found Error
Think about it, the last thing Google wants is to have someone search for your service, click your link, and then get taken to a 404 Page Not Found Error page.
Having just one 404 Error Page can hurt your rankings. You’d be surprised how many small businesses have websites with multiple… sometime hundreds of 404 Error Pages!
Do you think Google is going to send their precious traffic to a website with dozens of 404 Errors?
NO WAY!
How Do 404 Page Not Found Errors Occur?
When you get a 404 Error Page, it means that page no longer exists. The two most common reasons for a 404 Error Page are:
1.) Pages were deleted on your website but the link is still out there on the Internet.
Your “Deleted” pages may be gone, but the links to your deleted webpages could still on your blog posts, or other pages on your site. Those links could be on other websites, on social media or even referenced in offline advertising.
2.) Website redesign where the URL structure was improperly changed
